Already at the start of the design, we were involved in the layout of the patient rooms. Because there are two concrete supports in each room on the left and right, the bed fixture had to be adapted to this setup. Initially two test models were made, afterwards a definitive model was chosen by the customer, the engineering office and the architect. After implementation of this model in every patient room, this model was also placed with other services. The good coordination with the installer for the lot of electricity ensured a correct follow-up so that the 700 bed head fixtures were delivered, installed and connected in time.

This file consisted of two parts. The first part was a supply of material to the medical gas installer. The second part concerned the delivery of small and supplementary material to the hospital. The medical gases installer chose to work with the material from Greggersen (including gas valves and distribution boxes). The gas valves were supplied to the manufacturer of the bed head fittings and the distribution cabinets were installed by the installer. In addition to supplying the gas valves, the hospital coordinator chose to order the small material (flow meters, vacuum regulators, etc.) from us. In the finishing phase, additional wall ducts and wall rails were ordered by the coordinator.

The hospital's internal architectural office was looking for a modular system of bed head fixtures so that it could be installed on various services. After a visit to the projects we have already realized, a detailed prototype was presented. In the meantime six services have already been rebuilt and furnished to the great satisfaction of the customer. In addition, we provide the "medical mechanics" service with the full range of "medical gas accessories" (flow meters, etc.).

The technical department of the hospital was looking for a complementary model for their current (Swiss) gas valves. In consultation with the manufacturer Greggersen, a model was developed compatible with their current gas valves. The Greggersen gas valve consists of two parts: a base plate and the valve head. The customer can therefore retain the base plate at a later stage and possibly switch to another common gas valve based on European standards. In addition to the gas valves, we also supply the small material with the adapted plugs for the current gas valves.

The customer used the new Q100 series integrally from the new partner Schyns to realize the project. The implementation of this new product was a deliberate choice of the customer, the architect and the engineering office. It was also a challenge for the manufacturer to adapt this product to the specific requirements of the Belgian market. During the execution the arrangement was slightly adjusted to integrate the curtain rail in the whole. Two construction phases were realized on this site with this product in 2012 and 2016 respectively.

The architect wanted to put his own accent on the realization of this project and was therefore looking for the most suitable model. During his visit to the manufacturer Schyns his eye fell on the vertical arrangement Pure with integrated lighting. In the elaboration, the architect also wanted the wooden elements of the bedside fixtures to have the same color as the wood in the rooms, so we supplied several bedside fixtures with different colors to the hospital.
